Just a quick sidebar … I appreciate many other DJs will read this thread – this isn’t rocket science, I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone else promoting similar campaigns. In a year where everything has been turned on its head and dropped many times, I want to offer something to help bring you together to celebrate and look forward to better times.

Many of you would normally have work’s parties or meals together to acknowledge the year’s achievements. So, why should 2020 be any different, especially when you’ve overcome such huge disruptions? We’ve all had to learn a new way to live, many are now working from home and have changed how they spend their leisure time. Physical social distancing is the new norm but we’ve managed to stay connected using technology.
So, here’s what I’m offering to help bring you together. Zoom parties customised to suit your requirements! These can include whatever you want – chat time, awards ceremonies, music (maybe even dancing) and, the Zoom staple of 2020, quizzing.
Using SpeedQuizzing Live I’ve hosted events that have raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research. Please click here for more information on how you play. Now I’m offering special custom quizzes to companies and families who want some festive fun.
How it might work
As I said, we can also include some chat time and music. Companies might want to consider on-line awards ceremonies and a speech from the boss. The possibilities are endless – if you want to do something, I’ll try and make it happen.
Quizzing has been the go-to entertainment format for the pandemic and SpeedQuizzing Live is a great way of connecting people. Friends who told me they thought were “quizzed out” from numerous lockdown quizzes were hooked once they tried SQ L. It became a weekly staple in their diary. A quiz can be customised just for your party, give me a call and I’ll explain how.
Remember, I said music? Well, one option might be to start the call with cameras off while everyone has something to eat. I can play a request from each of the guests in a radio show format. Then, as many rounds of quiz as you want. Maybe we can end up with a virtual disco where everyone dances at home.
The possibilities are endless – I bet you can think of more elements to include.
