What a fantastic event, absolute perfection!

Probably more lavish than most weddings I’ll be working with this year, but that’s not important. The things that stick in my mind looking back at Friday are the attention to detail and the planning. Everything was just right because everything had been carefully thought about – nothing was left to chance and the Bride and Groom had put in countless personal touches.

Yesterday morning I heard an interview with the lady whose company provided the wedding cake, the brief she was given by Kate was astonishing! I’m sure there are numerous other examples of this.

That’s what makes a great wedding – attention to detail, and making it personal.

Congratulations to the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge of course, but also congratulations to everyone involved in creating history.
