Real Wedding Bex and Alex

Real Wedding Bex and Alex is the first in a series of posts about real weddings from this year that I’ll add to the Real Wedding book you’ll find in my bookcase.

I was reminded, when I saw this video last week, of so many great memories from a perfect Real Wedding Bex and Alex and all of their family and friends. Bex recently wrote this testimonial for me …

“Where to start? I first met Paul at a PMN wedding fayre when I noticed on one of his videos was showing some pictures of my friends wedding, so just said a brief hello and he gave me some details of an evening he was hosting at Southampton Ring Studio, I mentioned it to Alex and we went along for the evening as I remember it there was only us and one other couple, we sat and listened to the first half of the presentation and during the half way break we went outside to have a chat and I think it’s fair to say we were both already wowed by everything Paul offered and agreed that we really wanted him for our wedding, we returned for the second half and were even more impressed, it already we felt like we had found a friend there was no pressure everything was light hearted we went away from the evening to discuss the final details and booked up the next day! 

From that moment we knew we had done something great, Paul was on hand any time with any queries we had he helped massively when we had a supplier cancel on us and found us an alternative within an hour he truly was my guardian angel throughout the planning process, we loved having our own personal folder where we could write down our ideas for music and the Facebook group chat certainly gave us some interesting ideas, I know Alex found the grooms evening really useful attending once with and usher and then again with our best man, everything leading up to our big day was made so much easier by having Paul on board and we would 100% recommend him to all our friends and family. 

On our day everything ran so smoothly timings were kept and our guests were delighted with all the fun things including our love story and Mr & Mrs. And we are sure it would not have been so easy and enjoyable without Paul.

Real Wedding Bex and Alex

Here are just a few notes from this Real Wedding Bex and Alex

Bex and Alex had a beautiful church ceremony at All Saints in Martin followed by a marquee reception in Damerham.
As Bex said in her testimonial I was very involved in their planning, they attended the “Creating Your WOW Wedding” event twice and Alex and Josh, his best man, came to my “WOW Bridegroom” event too. I provided music at the church alongside the organist and bell ringers, it was stunning ceremony ending with them coming back down the aisle to Take That’s “Greatest Day” with the bell ringers joining in – it was just like something out of a movie!

The whole day was full of breathtaking moments, the speeches really hit the mark and I was honoured to share their love story with everyone before their first dance. Bex and Alex took to the dance floor for their first dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Think Out Loud” and the Bex danced with her dad, Ken, to this wonderful song “Daddy Dance With Me” by Krystal Keith.

I’ll stop there, but I’m sure Bex would be happy to tell you more. 😀

Creating Your WOW Wedding at Gray Manor Tonight!

Ahead of tonights “Creating Your WOW Wedding at Gray Manor” presentation, here’s the article form last weekends edition of the Hampshire Independent – CLICK HERE to see the on-line version of the paper.

On Thursday 6th July award winning wedding expert, MC and DJ Paul Taylor will be presenting a special evening for couples planning their wedding.

During the event Paul will explain what happens at a typical wedding and how you can make the most of every moment to make sure you, your family and friends have a great day.

Paul says “I’m on a mission to stamp out boring weddings and I’ll be sharing tips on things like how to set the tone for your wedding day before you even enter the ceremony, sharing your Love Story and how to make sure the dance floor is packed the whole night.”

‘Creating Your WOW Wedding’ is being held at Gray Manor Hotel, just off the A303, in Choldreton SP4 0EG, doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 7:30.

Paul adds: “Although people see my main function at a wedding as a DJ, I do much more than that. I’m part of a new breed of DJ in the UK that fulfils a much bigger role as a ‘Party Host’ – from organising ceremony music, being master of ceremonies and providing your evening entertainment – I’ll do al the things a normal DJ would with a touch of magic to add some sparkle and ‘WOW’ moments to your day.”

“On Thursday 6th July 2017 I’m hosting a FREE evening event where you can find out all about how you can make sure your wedding becomes a ‘WOW Wedding’. Wedding Fairs THIS Weekend

Wedding Fairs THIS Weekend – this coming weekend I’ll be at two events (and a party in the middle ~ but that’s another story).

On Saturday, 21st February, I’ll be at a fair at Plaitford Village Hall organised by Finest Marquee Hire. Among the other exhibitors are Wise Catering and lots of other suppliers. It runs from 10am until 4pm so please come and say hi and lets have a chat. It’s on the A36 and the approximate postcode is SO51 6EE

Then on Sunday, 22nd February, I’ll be heading up the A36 again to Salisbury and then off to the South-West for the Wedding Daze event at Salisbury Racecourse. This one runs from 11am until 3pm and I have FREE tickets for this event so please email me on paul@thepartydj.co.uk NOW and I’ll send some back to you. Wedding DJ Salisbury 1

Salisbury Racecourse

So today was the Salisbury Racecourse wedding event and it was great to see so many more new couples planning their weddings.

This was the view from the window behind my stand …

I did DJ for a couple a long time ago in the room I was exhibiting in today, but as I say it was a long time ago so I can’t remember much about it except that it was brilliant! 😉 I’ve also been there as a corporate guest on a race day and was very impressed with hospitality and catering offered.

I was very fortunate to have secured the use of one of the National Association of DJ’s (NADJ) new banners for the event, and proudly stood it next to my table.

I’m very proud to be a member of NADJ and regularly the meetings of our South Central branch.
