Sunday 30th October ~ DeVere New Place Wedding Fair

This Sunday, 30th October, is my last wedding fair of the Autumn season – it’s been a busy time! The venue this time is the DeVere New Place Hotel which is in Shirrell Heath, off the A334 between Botley and Wickham. CLICK HERE for directions.

I’ve not visited New Place before so I’m really looking forward to it. It’s a very well regarded venue and I know my friend Colin from Entity Photographic has been there a few times and loves it. Here’s their blogs on a couple of visits …CLICK HERE and CLICK HERE

I’ve been booked for a wedding there next year and I’ll be providing music from their ceremony right through to their evening disco – it’s going to be a fantastic day!

So, after just a few hours sleep it was off to Fleming Park for another Wedding Fair. One more to go in this season’s diary – next Sunday – details to follow.

I had a busy time as I was also providing the music for the fashion show and once again my better half / she who must be obeyed / Ce came along to lend a hand.

The event was well attended and it was good to finally see our friends from Gigglebooth in action.

We were interested to see how the centre had evolved since we last visited. They have a very smart function room, the Park Suite, with a great view over the park that we were very impressed with. It has a bar in the room and is definitely worth a look if you are planning a party for up to 80 people. They do cater for weddings and offer a very attractive package.

It was a great pleasure to work with Valerie and her team, who put on a wonderful Bridal fashion show.

Sunday 23rd October ~ Fleming Park Wedding Fair

This Sunday’s Wedding Exhibition is at Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh. This is the first fair to be held by Wedding Daze at the venue, and there will be up to 85 local wedding suppliers, including yours truly.

The event is between 11am and 3pm this Sunday, and admission is £2.

Sorry I haven’t posted much in the last week, I’ve been really busy seeing couples and spending 3 days in Birmingham at various DJ events.

Legacy Botleigh Grange Hotel ~ Sunday 25th September

The Legacy Botleigh Grange is one of my favourite local venues. I’ve been fortunate to work in both of the main rooms this year with Chloe and Simon’s wedding and the Pretty In Pink charity ball.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who said hello at yesterdays Southampton Guildhall Wedding fair. Ce, my better half, came with me and we met loads of lovely couples and some fantastic suppliers.

Among the exhibitors were three other entertainers we’d wholeheartedly recommend ~ magician Dominic Reyes who we saw at Kim and Ian’s wedding last September, singer Martin Murphy, and singer Katy from Soulstar.

The show was very well organised and attended, we’ll certainly be back for the next one.

Next up for me is the Legacy Botliegh Grange Hotel Wedding Fair this on Sunday – more details to follow.

Tomorrow (Sunday 4th September) is my first wedding fair of the Autumn season. This one is with PMN who always run excellent events and I’m really looking forward to meeting lots of new couples planning their special day.

It’s at the MacDonald Botley Park Hotel, and the doors open at 10.30am and close at 3.30pm, so there’s plenty of time to have a good look around.
