Wedding Fairs THIS Weekend – this coming weekend I’ll be at two events (and a party in the middle ~ but that’s another story).

On Saturday, 21st February, I’ll be at a fair at Plaitford Village Hall organised by Finest Marquee Hire. Among the other exhibitors are Wise Catering and lots of other suppliers. It runs from 10am until 4pm so please come and say hi and lets have a chat. It’s on the A36 and the approximate postcode is SO51 6EE

Then on Sunday, 22nd February, I’ll be heading up the A36 again to Salisbury and then off to the South-West for the Wedding Daze event at Salisbury Racecourse. This one runs from 11am until 3pm and I have FREE tickets for this event so please email me on paul@thepartydj.co.uk NOW and I’ll send some back to you. The Racecourse is at Netherhampton, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 8PN

So, how am I doing?  I said I was going to post 100 vlogs in 2015 and so far so good with that.

Salisbury Racecourse

So today was the Salisbury Racecourse wedding event and it was great to see so many more new couples planning their weddings.

This was the view from the window behind my stand …

I did DJ for a couple a long time ago in the room I was exhibiting in today, but as I say it was a long time ago so I can’t remember much about it except that it was brilliant! 😉 I’ve also been there as a corporate guest on a race day and was very impressed with hospitality and catering offered.

The function rooms are on the first floor and they are both very nicely proportioned. For more information about Salisbury Racecourse CLICK HERE. I see there website is currently being updated but I’m sure you can phone for more information.

I was very fortunate to have secured the use of one of the National Association of DJ’s (NADJ) new banners for the event, and proudly stood it next to my table.

I’m very proud to be a member of NADJ and regularly the meetings of our South Central branch.

The Larmer Tree Gardens

Just back from a site visit for Phil and Nancy’s wedding next month at the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens on the Dorset / Wiltshire border.

We met with Gail, the wedding co-ordinator, who explained the layout and how the day will unfold. We’ll be playing in The Pavillion (pictured above) which was originally built in 1886.

It really is an enchanting venue and we look forward to being part of a fantastic day.
