Good Friday, Walk All Over Cancer Challenge.

Happy Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everybody! Before we get into today I have a confession to make …

Yesterday I didn’t manage 10,000 steps, I ended up on 9.493 but I was still nearly 4,000 steps ahead of target so I hope you can forgive me. Today I managed 11,628 so I cleared yesterdays shortfall and I’m 5,500 ahead now.

I usually don’t have a plan where I’m heading as I leave home and today was no exception. I headed down Fletchwood Lane and for the first time followed it right through to Woodlands and then walked through Ashurst and back through Foxhills. This more rural route meant I got to see a lot more than cats and dogs. These geese weren’t overly pleased to see me, I can see why people use them as security alarms. I also saw plenty of horses and goats. Walking along Woodlands Road there were literally hundreds of deer tracks in the mud but I didn’t actually see any this time.

For my soundtrack I relied on iTunes to play me a random selection. Most people who have ever used iTunes will be tell you how it often seems to play appropriate songs and today was no exception. I wasn’t even out of the house when it started with Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” and even more bizarrely Frank Sinatra’s version of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” when I was about a mile from home!

Happy Wednesday

Happy Wednesday, let’s see what Thursday brings ~ the weather’s not looking very clever but I’ve got a cracking album lined up.
