Bonkers!

I am still here, it’s a very busy August this year so forgive me for not posting for a few days.

I’ve had a few Friday weddings this year ~ I love Friday weddings ~ one from a couple of weeks ago was for for Emma and Shaun and it was full of amazing touches – so many I’m not going to share them all with you. From their carefully chosen ceremony music to their after-party playlist it was epic! Emma’s attention to detail and Shaun’s passion for fun really shone through.

They chose the Southampton Hilton for their venue – this was my second visit and yet again I was really impressed by the service the guests received and the support and hall I was given the Hilton is well worth checking out if your looking for a venue in the Southampton area.

Shaun’s speech was one of my highlights, it was written as a poem and I found this section very moving – just check out this video and please excuse the photographer’s back.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Emma and Shaun’s wedding day everything they wanted.

Toasts!

I’ve just been directed to these two very good videos on YouTube from THINKER.

First we have some tips on writing your toast …

and the second one, more great advice on delivering your toast

Toasts and speeches are covered for Bridegrooms in my special “men only” Bridegrooms workshop ~ Click here for more information. 😉

Giving a speech / using a microphone

Here’s a video posted by a guy called Brian S Redd from America. Joe and I have been following Brian’s YouTube videos for a couple of years and we’ve had the pleasure of meeting him and hearing him speak at the BPM show. He speaks the truth. In our World he is a legend!

This video deals with how to give a speech through a microphone, as he says you can have the best speech in the World but if people can’t hear you it’s no good at all. Take a look – you never know when you might need it.
