Nathan & Laura’s Party

Last Saturday we played at Nathan and Laura’s party at Hamworthy Club.

The event was a pre-wedding party, Nathan and Laura are getting married in Mexico at the end of the month and wanted to celebrate before they went because when they get back everything will be ‘Christmassy’. The theme colours for the party were orange and silver, so we set the uplighting to orange for the early part of the evening.

It was a very relaxed evening. At our planning meeting it was decided there should be no fuss, no speeches, just a chance for everyone to get together for a chat and a dance later on.

Unfortunately we didn’t get an invite to play at their Wedding in Mexico :o(

Kim & Ian’s Wedding

I’m sorry if anyone has been checking this blog and has been frustrated by the lack of new content… but I’m back! Most of my attention has been on the GOLD HAMPSHIRE BLOG CLICK HERE – my retro project with Steve, I have loads of plans for this blog and I’m going to try and get things going again … so fingers crossed!

Over the last few months I’ve shot quite a lot of video at various events, and I’m just starting to go through it so there should be a few more posts over the coming weeks.

First up, Kim and Ian’s Wedding at Careys Manor in The New Forest from Saturday 18th September. Kim has been a friend of my wife and I for many years and I was delighted to be asked to DJ for her big day. They also invited us to share the whole day with them as you’ll see from the video. It was a fantastic day – the weather was beautiful, the venue is terrific, and Kim and Ian’s family and friends were fabulous.

I didn’t take as much footage as I’d have liked (Joe was off doing his own thing) so I’ve “borrowed” some pictures from Kim’s Facebook page.
