Dolly’s Vintage Dance Night
Saturday night found us back in Basingstoke, well Old Basing Village Hall to be accurate, for Dolly’s Vintage Dance Night. The evening was put together by two lovely ladies, Genevieve and Sharon, as a fundraiser for the Tommy’s, a charity that funds medical research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. CLICK HERE for more info about Tommy’s.
The plan for the evening was music from the 1950’s and end in the 1980’s with live music from duo Fred Coole and Oscar Middleton and the fantastic Band “Lipstick on your Collar” with me filling in the gaps and rounding off the party.
There was a fully licenced bar and some great food available with waitress service. Alastair from Ideal Imaging providing a photo booth with all the proceeds going to Tommy’s and most of the party-goers came dressed from their favourite decade.
Thank you for the booking and many congratulations to Genevieve and Sharon for organising a very successful fund-raiser that really was toe tapping good fun!
