Save the date ~ Tuesday 21st February

It’s less than two weeks to my next ‘Creating Your WOW Wedding’ evening when I run through the typical wedding day timeline to explain how to incorporate the principles in the ‘Your WOW Wedding’ booklet into your big day. The evening is being held at Ampfield Golf Club (SO51 9BQ), the doors will open at 7pm for a 7:30 start. Holding these events was a major factor in my receiving of the “Contribution to the Wedding Industry” award recent, these events are open to all couples whether they want me to DJ their wedding or not.

Watch this short video for more …

I’ll share tips on how your wedding can easily become a ‘WOW Wedding’
Things like …
* How to set the tone for your wedding day before you even enter the ceremony

Real Weddings

Party DJ Real Weddings

Real Weddings from real couples just like you! That’s the idea and that’s what I’ve finally got together with a lot of help from some very special friends.

One of the things I’ve always believed in is only using real pictures of couples I’ve worked with – I hate misrepresentation and the use of “stock images” and even stolen pictures on websites. So my website and literature has always featured my couples – Real Weddings that I’ve been blessed to play a part in.

Recently a few people, fellow wedding professionals and even clients, have told me I should feature more about these Real Weddings and so I’ve started this new booklet. What I’ve tried to do is give a flavour of each wedding without listing everything that happened – hopefully it will give plenty of ideas to couples planning their big day. I will be adding more weddings both old and new as time goes on, every couple have given their permission to be included and have also been consulted about their entry because that’s they way I try and do things – I never take anything for granted.

PLEASE CLICK HERE to open Real Weddings and have a look.

This is one of a number of booklets going onto my website now, so please have a look at the changes I’ve been making with the help of my brilliant website designer Deon from Deon Design.

I’d like to thank Shellie & Matt, Sarah & Dave, Kate & Colin, Axy & Jez, Amy & Kristin, Karen & Billy, Lisa & Karl, Kat & Gareth, Emma & Simon, Josh & Max, Abi & Marcus, Emma & Craig, Charlotte & Simon, Lauren & Dave, Claire & David and Kerry & Ashley for their support.

If you are one of my couples and would like your Real Wedding to be included please let me know, thanks.

Wedding Planning With Me

Why get me involved in your wedding planning?

As you have probably seen, I spend a lot of time with my couples telling them about what to expect and helping them understand how the day will unfold. We talk about what they want their day to look and feel like and then we look at how they can plan their wedding with entertainment in mind so that their friends and family have a great time.

A wedding is a celebration of two people love for each other, I believe the party starts the moment the registrar, or minister, declare them to be married. Putting everybody at ease so they can really enjoy the whole day is at the centre of this. Providing a soundtrack, making important announcements, and just being there to guide and inform everyone on the day is just part of what I do – even for the most laid-back, relaxed weddings most of the work is done in the planning stages.

Here’s what some of my couples have to say about their wedding and how I helped them bring their day together.

Thank you to Emma and Shaun, Meghann and Chris, Shell and Roo, Jen and Fran, Karen and Ian, Charlotte and Simon, and finally Lauren and Dave for spending some time “On The Sofa” to talk about their experiences.

So, Why Get Me Involved In Your Wedding Planning?

Episode 12 ~ 30 Minutes!

wedding tips

Here’s another video-log with wedding advice to help you with planning your big day.

This time I focus on the ceremony, those 30 minutes where everything changes forever!

There are a number of ways you can create your own special atmosphere and start the whole celebration in a way that will engage all your guests – we’ll talk about music another time – for now I want to look at the principles I talk about in the WOW Wedding guide where the focus is on …
Weaving in your own personalities,
getting Others involved,
and explaining Why things are significant.

This is episode 12, so if you haven’t see the other eleven then check them out, they are full of great wedding advice to help you.
