February Weddings ~ Saint Valentines And All That!

So, February Weddings ~ Saint Valentines and all that! Traditionally February is the month for love thanks to Valentines Day on the 14th – it’s also a good month to have someone to love so you can keep warm!

February Wedding

Weather-wise February is still winter, here are the headlines …

Temperature ~ February daytime temperatures will generally reach highs of around 7°C that’s about 45°F. At night the average minimum temperature drops down to around 3°C, that’s 37°F. In recent times the highest recorded temperature in February has been 16°C that’s 61°F, with the lowest recorded temperature -9°C, about 16°F.

Rainfall ~ The average monthly amount of precipitation has been recorded at around 55 mm, that’s 2 inches. Throughout the month you can expect to see rain or drizzle falling on 17 days of the month, with snow falling on 2 days.

Sunshine ~ For February expect the sun to shine for an average of 4 hours per day.

So cold with snow still possible. For more detailed information CLICK HERE for the MyWeather2 page

Let’s be honest, it can be a fairly grim month so perhaps it’s a great time to share the love and plan your wedding. Prices are likely to be lower than in high season and you may have a genuine reason to choose the month. There’s a school half-term in February so if you’re a teacher it could be perfect for you.

Weddings in February

February isn’t a particularly popular month for Weddings (despite Saint Valentines and all that!) so maybe it’s a good month to look at, especially if you want to do something different.
