Just to say … I’m back and these two great events are happening!

I’m just about to rush off for a meeting but I just wanted to post a quick update to get a couple of things on your radar.

When I say I’m back that’s because we’ve just had a fabulous break away in Fuerteventura (I don’t want to make you too jealous so I won’t post a picture … no, I’m a horrible person, so here’s one!)

So it’s back to work now and I’m preparing for two excellent events in the next few days

First, on Sunday …
Brockenhurst Village Hall wedding fair. It’s FREE entry and there will be plenty of great wedding experts on hand to chat to. I understand there will also be a welcome drink and a goodie bag. Brockenhurst Village Hall is in Highwood Road and the postcode is SO42 7RY.

Then on Wednesday evening I’m hosting another of my “Your The Man” Bridegroom’s workshops, which isn’t really a workshop at all. It’s just an evening for the gentleman when I run through their responsibilities and help them with great ideas so that everybody thinks they are a “top bloke”. I could tell you more but then I’d have to kill you – so, if you know anyone who might be interested (even if they aren’t my client and don’t need a DJ) tell them to email me paul@thepartydj.co.uk and I’ll tell them more.

I actually haver lots to tell you but I’ll get to the other stuff later I just wanted to let you know about these two great events before I went to my meeting ~ Cheers! x

Spring Bridegroom’s Events

My FREE Spring Bridegroom’s Events are fast approaching. I believe these evenings can help guys understand what’s going to happen at their wedding and how they can really make sure their Bride-To-Be has the best day possible – I wish EVERYBODY would take the opportunity to attend! The dates are Thursday 3rd and Tuesday 8th March

Although it’s called a workshop it’s really just a couple of hours with a beer or a cuppa talking through a few basic ideas that could make all the difference. Bridegroom’s are encouraged to bring their Best Man and/or Ushers.

Among the tips there will be plenty of great advice on how to deliver a brilliant speech and there will be time to ask questions about any concerns you may have.

These two special evenings are being held on Thursday 3rd (very limited spaces) and Tuesday 8th March, that’s this Thursday and then again next Tuesday. Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30 start and we should be finished by 9:30 – There’s even a “Top Secret” booklet to take away.

These are the only two planned Bridegroom’s events until the Autumn.

So gentlemen, it’s just two hours of one evening to help you get it right on a day that you’ll remember for the rest of your life, – so don’t miss out!

The problem is nobody tells you what to expect and how to make the most of your big day ~ wouldn’t you like to find out how to be  a WOW Bridegroom?

When I got married I was told to be at the church 45 minutes before kick off and then do as I was told. It went fine but now I understand how it could have been even better.  I’ve also been a Best Man and an Usher and looking back I know I missed opportunities to really help. Now that was before the internet and there wasn’t much help available, now there is plenty of information to hand – maybe too much! Where do you begin to look and, perhaps more importantly, how do you prevent doing the same as every other guy who’s read a couple of articles on the first page of Google?

This FREE event is designed to help you focus on what’s really important with advice on speeches, wedding etiquette and how you can make sure she has the day she’s been dreaming of!

Men Only ~ Boys Night Out

I had a fantastic time on Tuesday with a group of guys running through my Bridegroom’s Workshop.

I can’t really go into details because the content is all Top Secret, but the focus of the evening was to explain what to expect on their wedding day and how to make the most of it.

The crazy thing is the timing of the event coincided with the Italy Vs England football friendly and yet these gentlemen all made it to get a few tips on how they can give their Brides the best day possible. Theses aren’t ordinary guys these are legends in the making.

The next event I’m hosting is another of the “Your WOW Wedding” evenings on Tuesday 28th April. If you, or someone you know, is getting married this is a great chance to find out the stuff that nobody tells you. Here’s what one of the attendees at the last event had to say …

Bridegroom Tips~ Be More Than Just A Groom

I’m really looking forward to picking up the latest of my wedding planning booklets today ahead of Tuesday’s Bridegroom’s Workshop. It’s 23 pages running through what to expect and how to make the most of every moment and every Bridegroom attending the event will get a copy.

It’s not too late to book a place at this event. The evening is totally FREE (you’ll need to buy your own drinks) and don’t worry there is no “sales pitch” – just great information to help guys make the most of the day, as it says above “Bridegroom Tips~ Be More Than Just A Groom”.

This one is being held at Ampfield Golf Club on Tuesday evening (31st March) with doors opening at 7:15 for a 7:45 start.

for guys who want to really make sure they know what to expect on their wedding day and want to give their bride-to-be an amazing experience. The event will last about 2 hours and will feature lots of great advice on making THAT speech! He can bring his Best Man or another friend if he’d like to.

I’m holding another evening next month on Tuesday 28th April for Brides and Bridegrooms-to-be. This event is called “Creating Your WOW Wedding” and I’ll be sharing dozens of fabulous ideas to help you create an unforgettable wedding full of love and fun that will help you plan a day your friends and family will never forget.

Update …

I just wanted to quickly update you on things because it’s all been a bit manic over the last couple of weeks and I’m taking a winter sun break and will be away for a few days.

First the Groom’s Workshop was great fun. Thanks to the guys who turned up, we were only a small group but I know we all got something out of our time together. The Bell is a lovely venue and I’m sure we’ll go back there again. I hope to announce two more venues soon, one over to the east of Southampton and another possibly in East Dorset. More information early next month (March).

Once I’m back from my break we have 3 wedding fairs booked at The Botleigh Grange, The DeVere New Place and The Wessex Conference Centre – again more info soon.

Also confirmed are my next 3 dates at The Concorde Club. I’ll be there on Saturday 3rd March, Saturday 5th May and Saturday 7th July.
