One thing leads to another …

Way back on 25th April 2010 I did my first Wedding Fair since I returned to DJ’ing. It was held at Rownhams House and I eventually booked 3 or 4 weddings with couples I met there. I say eventually because these things often don’t happen straight away.

Somewhen in late Spring 2011 I had a meeting with a lovely couple, Jen and Martin, who’d met me at Rownhams House over a year earlier and, unbeknown to me, decided that day that they wanted me to be their DJ.

Jen and Martin’s wedding was held at Marwell House on 11th August 2012. It was a wonderful evening filled with some very special moments, you can see more, including a video, in my blog here

That was one of two weddings I played for at Marwell that summer. I’ve always loved the zoo and the weddings there are always very something special. The ceremonies are held in the house with the reception usually held in a marquee in the walled garden, all this right in the centre of the park and all the animals.

Later that year I was contacted by Sian who was on the events team at Marwell. Along with her colleague, Natalie, and another friend, Jordan, she was off to Austarlia and out of all the DJ’s they’d seen they wanted me for their leaving party!

So, on 25th January 2013 I played for Sian, Natalie and Jordan’s going away party which was held at Goals in Southampton. Goals is an excellent venue for a fun party. We had a great night – find out more here.

Now on duty at Goals that night was Aimee who told me she was planning her wedding and a few months later I got a call from her. I arranged to meet with Aimee and her fiance Matt and told them more about the options I offer and they booked me. Last Saturday, 9th November 2013, was their big day at The Hilton in Southampton – it was an amazing day! I’ll post more soon but for now here’s just one picture.

There you have it, from 25th April 2010 to 9th November 2013 … I wonder where this wonderful journey will take me next?
