Life Sounds Better To Music ~ August 2021

I was expecting August to be a quiet month … wrong! Life Sounds better to music in August 2021 with another brilliant batch of new releases.

Damond Ramsey & Sheila Ford ~ Feel Like Making Love

Damond Ramsey and Sheila Ford’s new version of the classic Roberta Flack song ‘Feel Like Making Love’ is absolutely spot on.

R Plus & Amelia Fox ~ Love Will Tear Us Apart ~ Tensnake Remix

Sometimes you see a remix, or a new version, of a song that people consider to be a classic and you think NOOOOO! I’m sure some people will feel that way about this – but I really love it. R Plus & Amelia Fox ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ ~ Tensnake Remix

Silk Sonic ~ Skate

Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak are back with Silk Sonic for their second single ‘Skate’.

Digby Jones & Airglo ~ Beautiful Day

There’s a new Digby Jones album called ‘Balearic Sun. There are various collaborations including this one with Airglo ‘Beautiful Day’ which seems to start with a Moby hook but really takes it on.

Will Downing ~ The Warmth Of You

A few months back I featured another new Will Downing song – ‘Stand Up’. Here’s another one, ‘The Warmth Of You’ actually went to number one on the UK Soul Chart.

So there you go! Life Sounds better to music in August and I’m sure it will again in September.

Mug of tea raised ~ Cheers!
